Hello my friends. I'm so glad you're here.

Bonjour, hola, ciao, γεια...

I'm living a purposeful life full of career building, adventure passtimes, travel, and knowledge building. I fly, write, run, and study a handful of languages.

I've worked in aviation, tourism, logistics, and international operations. I was in the Air Force for 20 years, have flown at three major airlines, flown in combat, and traveled to over 80 countries. For a full career profile, visit my LinkedIn page. I tell my military story on the SERVED podcast, and my life adventure story on the WHEN WOMEN FLY podcast, and the Flux Agents story on the CRAFT BUSINESS LIFE and DR. DAWN ON CAREERS podcasts.

Most of my work has been in operations: flight operations, logistics, business development, and nonprofit work. I'm also a social scientist and do research on career psychology.

I have a BS in Atmospheric Science from The Ohio State University (where I fell in love with chaos theory and thermodynamics) and an MBA in Global Business from Georgia Tech (where I completed international study programs in Argentina, the UAE, and India). I hold a DBA from Université Paris-Dauphine and wrote my thesis on Flux Agents, a new psychographic categorization of contemporary businesspeople.

I currently work with two nonprofits:

Abingdon Foundation

The National D.B.A. Society

If you'll excuse me, I have to get back to reading awesome books, listening to great podcasts, creating art, writing articles, studying Greek (or French or Italian or Spanish), playing Tomb Raider, mentoring some great people, doing nonprofit work, consulting with interesting businesses, talking about airplanes, investigating my next travel adventure, learning about history, researching the psychological motivation of careers, or just drinking really good coffee and solving all of life's problems with my husband and dog. She's a very clever dog.
